Bradina - Konjic

During the military operations of the Bosnian Territorial Defense Forces (TO), the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) and the Ministry of Interior (MUP), several members of the Serb population were arrested and imprisoned in barracks and warehouses. ‘The Croatian aggressors murdered forty-eight people, 240 villagers were herded to the Celebici detention centre.’

Women, children and the elderly were brought to this school. Soldiers confiscated jewellery and other valuables. They grabbed the breasts of young women and girls, pushed their fingers between their legs and raped them. On 13 July 1992, members of the Green Berets raped fifteen women. Male prisoners were also raped by soldiers.
