In Silent Witness, photographs of private homes and public buildings in which war crimes were committed during the Bosnian War (1992-1995) - in particular rape against women of all ethnic groups living in Bosnia and Herzegovina - are combined with testimonies from the surviving women.
Cornelia Suhan's photographs of these buildings - the silent witnesses - make it possible to tell the stories without exposing the victims to the public once again.
